KFC’s Kids’ Zone was the place to be at the recently concluded inaugural World Kids’ Fair held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre (LESC) on Saturday 24 March and Sunday 25 March 2012.
The screams of excitement from the KFC Kids’ Zone were deafening as the children enjoyed the wide variety of activities on offer ranging from traditional favourites such as face-painting and jumping tents to wall climbing.
Patrons in the Zone also took the opportunity to visit the KFC Booth to sign up for the popular Chicky Club. All existing and new members visiting the KFC Booth received an activity book and a free, limited edition X-men watch in the colour of their choice. There was also a special appearance by KFC’s mascot, “Chicky” who delighted patrons both young and old, pausing to take photographs with many.
Marketing Coordinator at KFC, Shekelia Barrow, said KFC was very pleased with public response to the KFC Kids’ Zone and the Chicky Club membership drive:
“Our goal is to ensure that everything we offer is “Sogood” and the KFC Kids’ Zone delivered on that promise by providing an exciting activity centre. Over the two-day event, scores of new members joined the Chicky Club and will now be eligible to be a part of several of our other exciting activities for children including our upcoming Kite-making Workshops next month”
The much-anticipated World Kids’ Fair featured live demonstrations, a variety of live stage shows, interactive activities, exhibitors and vendors.
