It was a good ole Bajan Christmas in Independence Square recently when the Barbados Public Workers’ Co-operative Credit Union Limited (BPWCCUL) hosted a free concert in recognition of its 40th anniversary.
The best in Bajan entertainment graced the stage including Ruk-A-Tuk International , the St. Leonard’s Boys Choir, Kareen Clarke, Mikey and Paula Hinds.
Adrian Clarke’s performance of several spouge hits was well received but it was his rendition of Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, where he substituted the reindeer for a ZR, that was a crowd favourite.
The audience, which took up every vantage point in the square, included staff and members of the credit union.
The BPWCCUL is the largest indigenous financial institution in Barbados.
