Social Care Minister Steve Blackett was recently addressing supporters of the ruling Democratic Labour Party at Flint Hall.

Mr Blackett vented frustration at what he perceives as politically motivated spanners being thrown into the works of Government and private sector initiatives, he added if the delays are not necessary then implement a penal sentence to prevent any further impediments to construction;-

The Minister noted while Government is not directly involved in the City project which could lead to crucially needed jobs with Unemployment at 9%, at the same time, he says the injunctions create a bad taste in everyone’s mouth and make investors think twice before coming here to develop;-
