Six Barbadians are now on their way to offering web design services.
They have just completed a 13-week course at the Haggatt Hall Resource Centre which was run by the Community Development Department.

Some of the students took the opportunity to create web sites for their existing and future working endeavours, including Deejaying, Child Care and freighting services.
Community Development Department Aide, Bertram Bispham, said the aim of the course was to empower individuals to set up businesses or become more skilled in their work environment.
The pilot web design course was run by Ramona Rollins, a teacher who has developed educational software with Study Steps, a local company.
The free course falls under the Community Technology Programme which is aimed at increasing technology skills and aiding citizens to find jobs or establish businesses.
