The Barbados Football Association (BFA) has emphasized its commitment to setting a standard of excellence both on and off the pitch by showcasing the recent achievements and accolades of two members of its Administration.
The BFA announced today that General Secretary Nicholas Branker has been appointed as a member of the FIFA Football Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Standing Committee, where he will play a key role in helping to shape football both locally and abroad.

“Being exposed to cutting-edge digital strategies and solutions that are shaping the future of the sport worldwide will allow me to bring invaluable insights back to Barbados to ensure our football ecosystem is aligned with international best practices,” he said. “By integrating forward-thinking technologies into our local structures, we can strengthen our technical programs as well as our coaching and player development pathways, and improve the overall management and governance of the game here. I am committed to leveraging this opportunity to contribute to the long-term development and sustainability of football in Barbados, and I also look forward to supporting the FIFA President’s vision in helping to develop football on a global scale.”

Upon receiving his Award, Rudder said:
“To the Government of Barbados and all who have helped to shape and positively influence me, and to those I’ve positively influenced and helped shape throughout the years, I give much thanks and respect for the recognition. I am truly grateful and will continue to work in the best interests of the people of this blessed Barbados.”
The BFA stated that it will continue to elevate its staff and evolve its operations to raise the standard of all facets of football in Barbados.
