When Hunte appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Graveney Bannister on Monday, he was remanded to appear at the Holetown Magistrate's Court on July 21 and the District "A" Court on July 24.

The Criminal Investigations Department in the Northern and Bridgetown Divisions have arrested and formally charged 29 year old Jamel Lorenzo Hunte from Watermans Terrace, Green Hill, St. Michael for the following offences:

  • Rape of a Minor – 5th June 2023
  • Rape of a Minor – 15th June 2023
  • Indecent Exposure – 15th June 2023 whilst on Folkestone Road, St James
  • Trespass – The Frederick Smith Secondary School, Trents, St. James
