The Barbados Rugby Football Union has returned to regional competition with hardfought success as the Men’s and Women’s Beach Rugby Teams both won medals at the recently concluded Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Beach Games.

This multidisciplinary tournament was the first of its kind and took place in Santa Marta, Colombia, November 19-26, 2022. Barbados also sent competitors in sailing, skateboarding, surfing, beach volleyball and beach wrestling.

The Barbados Beach Rugby Women’s team placed third, earning the Bronze Medal, while the Men’s team placed second overall, winning the Silver Medal.
