Prime Minister Mottley’s Address to #Barbados – 26th June 2020 (Friday)

Barbadians missing unfettered aspects of Church Life can rejoice louder as congregations have restrictions lifted further.

This was confirmed by <strong>Dale Marshall</strong>, Attorney General of Barbados at an emergency briefing this afternoon at Ilaro Court, he stated revised physical distancing of 4 feet apart still remains in effect but there is no limit for sermons.

The good news is also how for 35 days in a row there were no new cases, according to Colonel Jeffrey Bostic who revealed there are no recovery cases in Harrison Point in St Lucy now…

As if that was not enough, PM Mia Amor Mottley, also gave Barbadians a distinct reward of good behavior in following the Curfew, as of Wed 1st July there is no more restricted hours. She also noted how Barbados and Dominica are the only two Caribbean territories listed among Top 15 for controlling the effects of COVID19.

PM Mottley also announced how commercial air traffic to resume on July 12 with Air Canada. British Airways restarts on July 18 from Gatwick; JetBlue from JFK in New York on July 25; Virgin Atlantic on August 1 and American Airlines on August 5. It is anticipated Caribbean Airlines will resume in mid-July.
