We Gatherin’ has major Presence in 2019 Independence Parade
This year’s Independence Parade operated under the theme of ‘2020 We Gatherin’: United Against NCDs‘ which promotes the Government’s 2020 initiative to have Barbadians living on island, and abroad to participate in events and economic growth of Barbados.

Dubbed ‘We Procession‘, this section of that march began at Kensington Oval it then proceeded through Bridgetown past the Prime Minister at Parliament for the salute and on to the In
dependence Arch. During the parade the Barbados Defence Force also had a display to mark their 40th anniversary.
There were sporting organisations as well. Archery was very happy to participate.
