About eight o’clock Friday morning, Police responded to a report of a body seen floating in the area of the Careenage, Bridgetown, St. Michael.

On arrival, they discovered the body of a man floating in the water. With the assistance of personnel from the Barbados Coast Guard, the body was recovered yesterday and brought to shore in the area of the Screw Dock at Cavans Lane, St. Michael. The body was later identified as that of 79 year old Dudley Winfield Bryan, of unknown address. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
