UK SENIOR CITIZEN DROWNS BY THE CRANE

Officers are also probing another suspected drowning, this time 63 year old Nicholas Anthony Trolley, a British visitor from Moorland Street, Axbridge, England who was staying at Ebbtide Guest House, Fitts Village, St. James.

Circumstances

About 3:45pm on Saturday 3rd August 2019, police responded to a report at Crane Beach, St Phillip that a man who had been swimming in the water there had gotten into difficulty and had been pulled from the water by the lifeguard on duty.

On their arrival, the victim lifeless body was discovered lying in the supine position on the landing of a set of steps which leads to a beach, located at Stone Haven, Crane, St Philip.

Ambulance personnel also responded and on their arrival a check of the body was made however there were no signs of life. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
