The short documentary is based on the devastation caused by the 2017 Hurricanes Irma and Maria in the islands of Antigua and Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica and the Turks and Caicos Islands. Interviews were conducted with locals around the islands to share their experiences during the events and scenes on their road to recovery.
Executive Director of CDEMA, Ronald Jackson shared CDEMA’s role in aiding the countries as well as other organizations that came on board to offer support. Key interviewees to note include Mr. Philmore Mullin – National Disaster Coordinator in Antigua and Barbuda, Mr. Charles Williams – Kalinago Chief in Dominica and Mr. Donaldson Frederick of the Office of Disaster Management in Dominica.
