The Barbados Water Authority wishes to advise residents and businesses along Highway 1 that on Thursday, June 27th and Friday, June 28th between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am, it will be making a connection to a 20-inch main at St Stephen’s, Free Hill, Black Rock in St. Michael.
This connection will assist the Authority’s water augmentation measures to address the movement of water along the West Coast.
Residents and commercial customers along Highway 1 may experience low pressure or water outages in the following areas.
St. James
Prospect, Fitts Village, Appleby, Derricks, Paynes Bay, Sandy Lane, Sunset Crest, Holetown, Jamestown Park, Trents, Porters, Lower Mount Standfast, The Garden, Weston, Lower Crick Hill, Lower Carlton and surrounding districts.
St. Peter
Gibbs, Mullins, Road View, Battaleys and surrounding areas.
Customers are asked to store an adequate supply of water, if necessary, to assist them during the period of planned work.
