POLICE STOP AND SEARCH ROUTE TAXI NEAR CHEFETTE BLACKROCK
Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred Friday evening along Mortuary Road St. Michael near Cheapside Market.
About five before six on the evening of the 24th, 18 year old Kyle St Louis from Haynesville, St. James, went to Blackrock Police Station and reported he was shot in the back of his head by unknown men while near Cheapside St. Michael.
Ambulances were summoned and the victim was taken to QEH for medical attention.
Police acting on further information, learned a number of males boarded a Route Taxi in the City near Cheapside, the Route Taxi was intercepted about 6:00 pm along Bridge Gap, St. Michael near Chefette Blackrock.
Several males were taken into custody along with, a small quantity of cannabis, four rounds of ammunition, a knife, a scissors, a cutlass, and two cap-guns.
