British High Commissioner presents funds to Ann Hill School Barbados

High Commissioner Janet Douglas presented $2,000 cash to Principal of the Ann Hill School, Mrs Emelda Bell.

Mrs Douglas explained to the students at their morning assembly that staff members at the High Commission raised funds in different ways to support the school.

An important part of the fund raising effort was selling recyclable items to a commercial company, which, as well as raising funds, was important in reducing garbage going to the landfill.

She concluded by saying that they were especially in the hearts of High Commission staff, who had chosen the school as their special good cause.
