Salvation Army Family Fun Day happening on Easter Monday

The Salvation Army will continue its focus on the family with a frolicking Family Fun Day coming up on Easter Monday, April 22nd, 2019, highlighted by a T10 cricket match North vs South.

Divisional Commander, Major Darrell Wilkinson said the Family Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Weymouth Police Sports Club, Roebuck Street, would be an opportunity for families to connect and spend quality time together during the Easter holiday.

"<em>Easter is a time for families to show their Christian charity by sharing and caring about each other, and spending a fun day together is a great way to show everyone, especially the children that you care; and we also expect loads of excitement as the cricket teams from the North and South Divisions play for bragging rights</em>."

The cricket highlight adds to an already colourful, fun and exciting atmosphere awaiting with attractions including free health checks, flea market corner, line dancing, jumping tents, face painting, lucky dip, and much more, with live musical entertainment and karaoke; and local treats, food and drink on sale.
