Digicel Barbados today announced Yaser Maher as its new Chief Executive Officer. This appointment comes on the heels of the former CEO, Alex Tasker, being appointed to the role of Executive Chairman of Digicel Barbados in October of last year.

Yaser is no stranger to the Digicel family having joined the Barbados team from Digicel Vanuatu in the Pacific where he was Chairman and CEO from June 2015.

Commenting on his new appointment, incoming CEO for Digicel Barbados, Yaser Maher said, “I’m thrilled to be joining the Digicel Barbados team. In my new role, I am committed to building on the good work the team has delivered and to continuing our focus on providing great value and improved service to consumers and businesses across Barbados.”
