The Barbados Rugby Football Union (BRFU) is pleased to announce that effective 16 February 2019, their highly successful Get Into Rugby Barbados (GIR Barbados) programme will be holding introductory sessions at the Clubhouse on the Garrison Savannah.

Every Saturday from 16 February, there will be an U18 Get Into Rugby Barbados Introductory Session from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Everyone under the age of 18 is invited to come and participate!

If you are over 18, then you can come to the Over 18 Get Into Rugby Barbados Introductory Session every Sunday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, starting on Sunday 17 February.

All are welcome, male or female, and a special invitation is extended to the parents and guardians of the U18s to bring their children and see for themselves what rugby is all about.

This introductory programme offers the benefits of physical exercise and exposure to the rugby core values of Discipline, Respect, Integrity, Passion and Solidarity. Internationally, the number of rugby scholarship opportunities being offered is constantly on the rise, especially scholarships for female players.
