Philippe Ardanaz, France's Ambassador based in St Lucia, addressed members of the Diplomatic Corps, Barbadian Civil Service as well as press and other well wishers at the Barbados Museum for the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations with Barbados, he also conferred on Captain Don Chee-A-Tow, the Cross of the Knight of the National Order of the Merit.

Mr Ardanaz highlighted the need for the RSS and CDEMA to be able to improve their capacity to provide safety at all times, and he outlined a proposal made to the Barbados Government concerning regional cooperation; –

The French envoy also spoke to the need for increasing avenues of education for young Barbadians and he also addressed these concerns; –
