The Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) is kindly asking corporate and business taxpayers who made payments on time with their old Tax Identification Numbers for the June and July 2018 periods, to ignore the non-payment notices they received from the new TAMIS system.

Please note that the BRA is in the process of migrating those payments from the ETAX and VETAS systems into TAMIS and as such, when the migration is completed, all affected TAMIS tax accounts will be updated to reflect that these payments were made on time.

The Authority is therefore assuring those entities and business persons that they will not receive any penalty and interest on the aforementioned payments.
