Barbados Lottery has another treat in store for its fans at the Garrison Savannah today!

The Barbados Lottery has another treat in store for its fans by way of ‘The Barbados Lottery Race Day‘.

Account Development Manager for IGT Global Services Limited, operators of The Barbados Lottery, Mr. Patrick Clunis, launched the Race Day during a press conference held at the Barbados Turf Club, the Garrison, St. Michael, and presented sponsorship in the form of a cheque valued at $20,000 to The Barbados Turf Club.

The Barbados Lottery Race Day will take place at the Garrison Savannah on Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in collaboration with The Barbados Lottery’s beneficiaries; the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA), the Barbados Olympic Association (BOA), the Barbados Turf Club (BTC) and the National Sports Council (NSC).

“The tradition of horse racing remains alive and well in Barbados,” said Mrs. Hee Chung. “We at The Barbados Lottery are delighted to be sponsors of this Race Day, and as we continue our support for all sports on the island, we look forward to some thrilling races and great participation in this The Sport of Kings!”

The Barbados Lottery currently offers players a suite of eight games: Super Lotto, Pick 3, Pick 4, Double Draw, Mega 6, Scratch & Win, Caribbean Keno and Express Cash.

In thanking The Barbados Lottery, Mrs. Rosette Peirce, CEO of the Barbados Turf Club and Mr. Jonathan Simpson, Committee Member, the Barbados Thoroughbred Breeders Association jointly noted that the day promises to be an exciting one, not only for the organizers but were also looking forward to a big turnout of racing fans and enthusiasts, for a day of fun, enjoyment and family fun.

Mrs. Shelly Ann Hee Chung, Site Operations Manager, The Barbados Lottery later announced that of the eight races slated for the day, four will be specially branded by The Barbados Lottery with a combined purse winnings of $87,000.

In addition, the four remaining races each sponsored and branded by the BCA, BOA, NSC and a private partner, carry a combined purse winnings of $50,000.
