Barbadians are alerted to the fact due to the severity of the inclement weather associated with Tropical Storm Kirk, it is necessary to extend the closure of the beaches from the entrance to St. Lawrence Gap to the entrance of the Richard Haynes Boardwalk at Accra Beach, Christ Church, to 6:00 p.m. today, October 1^st 2018.

The closure of the beaches may be extended if conditions necessitate it.
