The Criminal Investigation Department of the Southern Division made significant progress with their investigations into a series of criminal matters – particularly Burglaries.

David O’Brien Best 48 years of no fixed place of abode has been formally arrested and charged for the following of offences:-

• Three (3) counts of Aggravated Burglary

• Two (2) counts of Theft from residences

• Sixty two (62) charges of Burglary

All of these offences were committed between september 2017 and 2018.

COURT APPEARANCE

Best appeared on Friday 25th May 2018 in the Oistins Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Watts. Only ten (10) of the charges were read, the accused was not required to plea to the indictable charges and was remanded to prison until Monday 28th May 2018 when he will return to court to have the other Charges read.
