Villages At Coverley Crowns A New Female 5K Champion As Oein Josiah Makes It Three In A Row

28-year-old Oein Josiah made it three wins in a row when he was the first competitor to cross the finish line during The Villages at Coverley’s recently held 5K Run/Walk.

However, it was a first win for 23-year-old Amy Cox who ran away with the women’s 5K Run title;-

Providing some strong competition for Ms. Cox was 10-year-old Asher Lashley who topped the Under 12 Boys Category. It was his first time running in the event;-

Among the other winners was first time competitor Kamille Hope who was successful in the Female 5K Walk Category.

This year’s event was held in support of the Sterling Children’s Home. Other winners of The Villages at Coverley’s 5K Run/Walk include Anderson Maughn – First Male Walker; Fayth Jeffrey – Under 12 Girl; Karina Carter – 50 plus Female and Steve Holmes – 50 plus Male.
