Police are investigating the most recent stabbing incident which occurred about eight o’clock on the evening of Saturday 13th Jan. 2018 at Jordan’s Supermarket, Fairchild Street, St. Michael; it resulted in Anderson Bend, a 52 year old security officer employed by the supermarket, receiving a stab wound to the chest.
Circumstances
Preliminary investigations revealed how Bend spoke to a man who was misbehaving in the supermarket.
The two (2) men subsequently became involved in an altercation, and as a result, the assailant stabbed Bend in the chest with a broken bottle before fleeing the scene. Bend was transported to the QEH by ambulance for treatment.
