IMPORTANCE OF LOCAL DIRECT INVESTMENT TO BE DISCUSSED AT BHTA’s FOURTH QUARTERLY

THE Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association’s (BHTA) Fourth Quarterly General Meeting next Wednesday, December 13, will focus on the Importance of Local Direct Investment in the tourism industry.

The discussion will be led by an impressive panel of tourism experts including Paul Doyle, Managing Director – The Crane Resort & Residences, Martin Ince, CEO – Foster & Ince Cruise Services Inc., and Stuart Layne, CEO – Barbados Tourism Investment Inc., with BHTA Chairman, Roseanne Myers as the facilitator.

The C & W Business sponsored meeting gets underway at 10 a.m., at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre and will see each panelist give an introductory presentation on the topic, followed by a Question & Answer session which allows for queries, comments and discussion with BHTA members.

During the meeting, Myers will also give remarks while CEO Rudy Grant will deliver the Administrative Review for the last quarter and C & W Director – Maya Wilshire will make a presentation.

The meeting, which is open to members of the public, will also feature the traditional BHTA Christmas Tombola draw for exciting prizes including airline tickets, staycations and lunch and dinner vouchers.
