Contest offers customers a chance to get a respite from Economic challenges

A Barbadian enterprise is hoping to remind the current generation of consumers of the heritage left behind in a social media contest using objects once popular yet now seldom seen or used.

Paul Hynam of the Chicken Barn launched a National Treasure Hunt at the Wildey branch of the popular eatery. Chicken Barn is the same age as Barbados from Independence and for the 51st Anniversary it was decided to engage a contest which tested customers’ knowledge of Barbadian culture.

Mr Hynam told reporters he was tired of how everybody was forgetting independence with the rush of Christmas music, he also indicated the full details can be found on their Facebook page, but he expects a large response since it involves doing a selfie;-

The Chicken Barn director also detailed how clients can qualify to participate and what prizes there are to encourage them to join in on the action;-

There are 6 outlets of chicken Barn with approximately 130 staff, the youngest division is Blackrock, which started last year.
