“One Family Under God;” Int’l Assoc. of Parliamentarians for Peace
Several Caribbean Islands joined the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace at the end of September. St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados have followed the example of the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica as well as more than 40 nations around the world.
Going beyond race, religion and nationality, the IAPP is working to build “One Family Under God.” It works to resolve problems such as family breakdown, climate change, terrorism, the economy, among others.
However, one immediate task we must resolve at the moment is the peaceful reunification of the two Koreas as one nation under God. The IAPP is proposing a United Nation’s Peace Office at the DMZ to support both Koreas.
