Assistant Superintendent of Police Mr. Andrew Lynch, of the Royal Barbados Police Force Band, was issued with his letter of appointment to the rank of Superintendent of Police and Deputy Director of Music by the Commissioner of Police (Ag) Mr. Tyrone Griffith during an official ceremony hosted at Police Headquarters on Tuesday the 12th of September 2017.

He was promoted to the rank of Station Sergeant in March 2008 and subsequently started the Junior Dance Band. He acted as Inspector from January 2012 to June 2014.

Mr. Lynch received a double promotion to the rank of Assistant Director of Music on January 1st 2015 and acted as Superintendent and Deputy Director of Music from October 1st 2016 until his most recent promotion to the said rank on September 12, 2017.
