Police are conducting investigations into an accident with injuries which occurred sometime around 7:10 am, on Saturday the 5th of August 2017, along St. Stephen’s Hill, Black Rock, St. Michael, involving a motor car which collided with a utility pole.

The motor car was being driven by Damone Lynch 27 years of Goddings Road, St. Stephens, St. Michael, who was accompanied by his 26 year old brother, and two (2) female friends ages 29 and 22 years respectively.

Royal Barbados Police Force public relations officer, Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler, confirmed there were at least nine reported accidents Saturday morning alone.

Damone Lynch did not complain for any injuries. His brother complained for pain to his head and neck, while the 29 year old female received a laceration to the mouth, and the 22 year old female complained for pain to her head, neck, and back.

Damone and his 29 year old passenger were transported to the QEH by private vehicle, whilst his brother and the 22 year old female were transported to the QEH by ambulance.

Two (2) Fire Tenders, and Five (5) Fire Officers, under the command of Divisional Officer Errol Gaskin responded to the scene, but were not utilized.
