The leaders of the four major trade unions, their respective shop stewards and all interested persons are asked to gather at Queen’s Park on Tuesday, 11th July, 2017 at 10:30 am for the “Walk for Relief” (Walk4Relief).
The purpose of this walk to Parliament is to deliver letters outlining the Unions’ objections to the recently announced budgetary measures, to the Prime Minister, Freundel J Stuart, QC, MP; the Leader of the Opposition, Mia A Mottley, QC, MP; and Independent Member, Owen Seymour Arthur, MP.
The walk will leave Queen’s Park at 11:30 am and proceed to the Parliament Buildings.

Supporters and interested persons are welcome to join the Barbados Workers Union, the Barbados Union of Teachers, the National Union of Public Workers and the Barbados Secondary Teachers Union at Queen’s Park as they Walk4Relief.
