Discovery of Skeletal Remains

Police are conducting investigation into the discovery of skeletal remains which were discovered sometime around 8:00 am, on Friday the 12th of May 2017, while at Marchfield, St. Philip.

Circumstances

Preliminary investigations revealed that the owner of a residence at Marchfield, St. Philip, is in the process of having some construction work done the property. During excavation by workmen on the site, the skeletal remains were discovered.

Deputy Director of Museum & Historical Society, Dr Kevin Farmer is suggesting that the remains appear to be human, but insisted that further test must be conducted to ascertain confirmation. He further stated that the remains also appear to be historic. Investigations are continuing.
