BLACKROCK ATM ROBBERY NIPPED IN THE BUD

Police arrested and charged 38 year old Anderson Wycleff Reid of Woodstock Road, Spooners Hill, St. Michael for the offence of Criminal Damage, after he committed damage to the Republic Bank Barbados limited, Automatic Teller Machine (ATM), located on the compound of Carlton & A1, Black Rock St. Michael.

This offence was committed sometime after six o’clock Friday morning.

Circumstances

At around 6:45 am, police responded to a report of a man committing damage to an ATM machine on the Compound of Carlton & A1. On responding to the report, Reid who was apprehended by two men performing maintenance work on the compound was handed over to the police.

38 year old Reid appeared before Magistrate Bannister in the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court on Saturday the 11th of March 2017.

He was remanded to prison to reappear in court on the 7th of April 2017.
