Bajans shine at Bahamas’ 2016 Marlin Awards
Barbadian gospel singer Nesha Woodz claims victory at Bahamas’ Marlin Awards after Barbados was without representation or winner for almost 10 years.
Neesha earned “Calypso-Soca Vocal Performance of the Year-Female” for ‘Express Yourself.’
Congratulations also to Pasquin and Gozzy who also received an award each in absentia. Pasquin won “Contemporary Vocal Performance of the Year Male” for his track, ‘Beautiful.’ While Gozzy received “Adapted Recording of the Year” for ‘Our God‘ which featured Hoszia Hinds.
