Well over 140 delegates will converge at Hilton Barbados from November 7 to 11, 2016 as the Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) hosts the 37th Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators Annual Technical Conference (CATA). Participants include delegations from Commonwealth nations, tax advisors from international agencies and members of the business community.
Under the theme, ‘Enhancing Tax Compliance through Strategic Alliances‘, this year’s Conference focuses on topics surrounding tax compliance, enforcement and exchange of information.

She also highlighted that the event was a momentous occasion for the revenue collecting agency.
“This is an especially proud moment for the Authority and by extension Barbados, to have been selected to host CATA‘s annual conference,” she said. “It also marks the first time in seventeen years since the Conference was last held in the CARICOM region, with the previous host being Belize.”
