“The 50th Empire!” – BB Fashion Week, November 4th to 6th

Unique Productions Worldwide Limited (UPWL) announces BB Fashion Week 2016 from November 4th – 6th at the Hilton Barbados Resort. The weekend of activities will feature three fashion Workshops, a Make-up Competition, four Fashion Shows, twenty-five designers and Four Shopping Parties.

Over its twelve years of productions, BB Fashion Week has continued to develop and expand its event portfolio, providing educational and development opportunities for local and regional designers.

This year’s cast features Super Model and Celebrity Shaun Ross whose portfolio includes Vogue, GQ Givenchy and Alexander McQueen to name a few. Joining Mr. Ross over the weekend, will be guest speaker Sharifa Murdock Co-Owner of Liberty Fairs, one of the biggest menswear trade shows in the USA.

Former Vice President of Puma and Founder for Ad Hoc Industries Adrian Gill will share the stage with Managing Director of UPWL and Caribbean Fashion Guru Rodney Powers. Workshop topics include How to Develop your Fashion Brand, Expansion In The International Market, Mass Production and Fashion Trades, Being A Model, Bookings and Building Your Portfolios.

Managing Director of UPWL and Producer of BB Fashion Week, Rodney Powers stated: “The team at UPWL is extremely excited at the increase in the number of workshops being offered this year, and the new speakers. Every year we seek to diversify our contribution to the local fashion Industry. Fashion is a billion dollar Industry and education in this area is important. Some of the new additions to Fashion Week this year include a Bridal Show, Menswear Fashion Showcase, Make-up Competition and Shopping parties where locals can enjoy clothing and products directly off the runway. Designers from Santo Domingo, Bahamas, Jamaica, Trinidad, Guyana, USA, St Lucia, Africa and Barbados.”
