The finalisation of candidates for Barbados’ main opposition continues apace since elections are constitutionally due by January 2018.

Therefore, it’s no surprise when the St Michael North West branch of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) is set to meet this evening to nominate their candidate for the next voting when called.

Opposition Leader Mia Mottley will be the main speaker at the meeting which starts tonite at 6:00 p.m. at Ellerslie Secondary School.

The BLP’s Annual General Conference starts this weekend at the Lester Vaughn Secondary in St Thomas.
