Barbados’ leading telecoms provider is ready once again to continue their support for the 20 Dollar Challenge from the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation (BEF).
General Manager of Flow Barbados, Niall Sheehy, observed Barbados wins either way from the annual youth initiative, where the competitors learn how to create their own jobs while winners also have a chance to assist in developing the telecommunications industry while preparing for the world of work since an internship with Flow is one of the many prizes for the overall winner.
The goal of the BEF is to see Barbados become an entrepreneurial hub by the year 2020, another goal was to achieve 100% Wi-Fi penetration for the country by November 2011 when it was under the stewardship of Peter Boos.
