As elections get closer, the frenzy to tie all loose ends intensifies… This weekend is last lap before the Opposition’s Annual General Conference at the Lester Vaughn secondary by month-end… The St John branch of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) will meet on Sunday 23^rd October 2016 to nominate its candidate for the next general election.

The day before that, she’ll be at the St James South branch of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) who meet on Saturday 22^nd October 2016 to nominate their candidate for the next general election.

Mottley will also be the main speaker at the meeting which starts at 5:00 p.m. at the West Terrace Primary School, West Terrace, St James. Elections are constitutionally due by January 2018.
