Present for the initiation of this campaign is entertainer Michael Mercer, better known as Mikey who made an appearance in the Bridgetown branch pf Payless.

In his view, the battle for breast cancer is far more than early detection – it is making sure the survivors understand their partners love them no matter what, and any woman who may have a mastectomy is even more beautiful in fighting Breast Cancer and winning.

$60,000 was donated locally, the campaign began from October 1st and continues to November 14th, when customers buy a pink pair of Champion sneakers they can get half off with another purchase depending on the lesser amount.

The Payless District Leader noted the campaign started since the beginning of October but will end 14th November, plus apart from the sneaker campaign, patrons can buy a bracelet for Breast Cancer awareness and most of the funds go towards assisting survivors. The added benefit is the display card allows customers to get a 20% discount in a subsequent visit…
