Taximan executed in hail of bullets in Warrens, Gun violence has Barbadians wondering how Crime is down?
For the second time in less than 24 hours Barbados experiences violent gunplay but this time there’s a fatality, the scene of the island’s latest murder emerged outside of the Lucky Horseshoe Saloon & Steakhouse in Warrens, St Michael. {CLICK ON LINK FOR FULL AUDIO}

Ricardo “Rick Rick” Bryan, 46, of Black Rock, St Michael, was brought low in a hail of bullets last night minutes to 8 near the popular restaurant.
According to reports, Bryan, drove a Mercedes Benz taxi Z 1159 and was a father of three, it seems he was approached by three men on leaving his vehicle and met his grisly end which some unconfirmed social media reports claim was at least eight shots that rang out. {CLICK ON LINK FOR FULL AUDIO}

These suspected perpetrators were said to have made their escape in a vehicle in the direction of the nearby Jackson area.
Bryan succumbed immediately, just a few feet away from the steps of the Lucky Horseshoe. Meanwhile, a teenager who was in a fete at Wotton, Ch. Ch. is now at the QEH in stable condition. {CLICK ON LINK FOR FULL AUDIO}
This was after what some claimed were AK47s aimed at differing factions which left three others wounded and many scrambling for the lives as bullets flew early Thursday morning. {CLICK ON LINK FOR FULL AUDIO}
This as police are still trying to make sense of the death of 47 year old father of two, Andre Hinds – late of St Lucy, in what seems to be a home invasion of a failed robbery; the rapid escalation of vicious incidents where firearms seem to rule has many Barbadians nervous at what was once a docile community.
