Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of Reynold Ricardo Jemmott, 63 years of Wavell Gardens, Black Rock, St. Michael, and the origin of a fire to his house in which he resided alone.

Police and Fire Officers responded to a report of a house fire at the mentioned address about 2:30 am on 5th June 2016. On arrival a report was received that someone may be inside the house which was on fire. Firemen made entry into the house and found the body of Mr. Jemmott and brought him out. There was no signs of life. The fire was extinguished; the house was extensively damaged.

A post mortem is to be performed to determine the cause of death.
