Farley charged with drug offences
Police have arrested and formally charged Trevon Orlando Farley 20 years old, of Pegwell Boggs, Christ Church with the following offences which occurred on Thursday June 2, 2016, at the Bridgetown Port, St Michael.
1. Possession of cannabis
2. Possession with intent to supply
3. Trafficking; and
4. Importation
On June 2, 2016, Trevon Farley went to the Bridgetown Port to clear personal effects. He presented documents for the cargo which were 2 barrels. Customs Enforcement Officers of the Customs and Excise Department interviewed Farley and during searches of the two barrels, seven (7) large packages containing cannabis were found concealed within six (6) cereal boxes. The matter was referred to the Police. The weight 6.6 lbs.
Farley appeared at the District A Magistrates Court on June 3, 2016, and pleaded not guilty. He was granted bail in the sum of $20,000 to return to Court on September 6, 2016.
