#Flow to stream coverage of #Rally #Barbados all through the #Caribbean

Barbados’ leading telecommunications provider will be giving motorsport fans an enhanced experience of Flow King of the Hill (May 29th) and Sol Rally Barbados (June 3rd – 5th).

For the first time ever, coverage of Rally Barbados will be broadcast to a regional audience in high-definition via Flow Sports (Channel 190), the new home of sport in the Caribbean.

The announcement was made by Shelly Ann Hee Chung, Head of Marketing, Flow Barbados, during a recent press conference hosted by the Barbados Rally Club (BRC) at the Accra Beach Resort.

“As the stage is set for the 27th edition of the Caribbean’s largest annual motorsport International, Flow is especially pleased to continue its relationship with what is undoubtedly the most popular sport on our shores. Therefore, we are very excited to be the title sponsor of Flow King of the Hill and we are confident of providing rally fans with the ideal setting for what is always an exciting precursor to Sol Rally Barbados,” she said.

"I am also very pleased to announce that for the first time ever, all the action from both events will be delivered to a regional audience in high-definition via Flow TV. A team from Flow Sports will be in Barbados to record, package and produce more than six hours of coverage for Rally Barbados which will be shown tape-delayed the following day across the Caribbean."

Hee Chung also said her company was pleased that Flow King of the Hill was being staged around Vaucluse Raceway. The event starts at Hangman’s Hill, passes through Vaucluse Raceway and finishes at Lion Castle.

"We are very happy that Flow King of the Hill will again be based at the Vaucluse Raceway, the undisputed home of rallying in Barbados," she said.

Earlier this year, Flow signed a significant sponsorship agreement with Vaucluse Raceway to provide the revamped St. Thomas facility with a comprehensive suite of connectivity solutions, and since then, significant work has been done and we think the thousands of fans who pack the venue on May 29th for Flow King of the Hill will be thrilled with the layout and branding of the new stage.”

Hee Chung also said fans could look forward to using FlowLive – the only mobile service offering live streaming of BRC events, including up-to-date times from each stage, overall group classifications, quotes from drivers and officials, along with stage reports and updated schedules.

Last year, the free online portal provided more than 10,000 subscribers from countries as far afield as Albania, Dubai, Serbia and the United Arab Emirates with live coverage from Hangman’s Hill and Bushy Park.

“We are encouraging everyone to sign-up for FlowLive via Facebook to receive live updates which will certainly result in an enhanced experience, whether fans are out on the stage at home or on the road,” she said.
