Police arrested and charged Jevon Jason Richards, thirty (30) years old of Princess Royal Avenue, Pine, Saint Michael as a result of the following offences committed at the Grantley Adams International Airport on the 23 March 2016.

1. Possession of cannabis
2. Possession with intent to supply
3. Trafficking; and
4. Importation

On further scrutiny the barrel was found to contain 12 lbs of cannabis hidden in household and food containers. Through investigations by Police, Richards was later arrested and was subsequently charged.
