Traffic Restrictions for Launch of 50th Anniversary Independence celebrations
A number of traffic diversions and road closures in and around Bridgetown will be in place on Wednesday, January 6, to ensure the smooth running of activities for the launch of the 50th Anniversary of Independence Celebrations.

During a press conference held recently at the 50th Anniversary of Independence Celebrations Secretariat, in the Old Town Hall Building in Bridgetown, Assistant Superintendent Ronald Stanford outlined a number of measures to be undertaken for the ceremonial parade through The City, and the multi-media concert in Independence Square.
In order to accommodate the parade, which starts at Redman’s Drive, the road from Redman’s Drive to Independence Square will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 4:00 p.m. until the marchers enter Independence Square;-
