The BFA’s 2016 Youth Tournament is on now – Saturday 16th January at 5 grounds across the island. A number of clubs have entered the five categories of the competition, with traditional soccer schools, Pro Shottas, Kick Start, Mavericks and Barbados Soccer Academy entering teams in all five categories of the competition.

These clubs will join staples to the competition, the likes of Gall Hill, Notre Dame, Paradise & Ellerton FC in addition to new comers Mega Ballers and West Coast Youth Academy who will all be looking to make their mark in the competition.

Each category has been divided into two zones with an average of eight teams each. Fields have also been dedicated to categories too ensure the smooth and efficient administration of the tournament.

The fields are as follows:

Under 9 Zone A & B Barclays, Wildey
Under 11 Zone A & B Blenheim
Under 13 Zone A & B Blenheim
Under 15 Zone A BFA Wildey Turf
Under 15 Zone B Lumber Company
Under 17 Zone A & B Deighton Griffith Secondary School

Games in the Under 11 – Under 17 categories start at 8:15 am, while the Under 9 category kicks off at 8:30 am.
