450 Kilo Drug seizure & arrest – St John

Members of the Drug Squad have arrested and charged Jody McDonald Watson 29 years of College Savannah, St. John, with the following offences:

1. Possession of 454.5 kgs of cannabis;
2. Possession with intent to supply;
3. Trafficking;
4. Importation;
5. Disembarking without the consent of an Immigration Officer; and
6. Entering other than at a Port of Entry.

(FILE IMAGE - DEMO ONLY) On Saturday 16 January 2016, Members of the Drug Squad conducted an operation at Consett Bay, St. John, supported by members of the Marine Unit and CID. A boat was intercepted and the drug seized, the person on board eluded police. Subsequent investigations led to Watson's arrest.
