TWO MURDERS SPOIL ST PHILIP CARNIVAL – WILL EVENT CONTINUE?

After a dispute at Ruby Main Road during the St Philip Carnival, Dwayne Burgess is dead.

The incident occurred around five o’clock in the evening.

Police say Burgess, who was in his 30s, was transported to the QEH by ambulance where he was pronounced dead.

The RBPF are also investigating the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of Shane Nurse, 34 years of Ruby Tenantry, St. Philip, which occurred about 6.55 pm on 30 November 2015, at Ruby Tenantry.

The victim was involved in verbal dispute with an unknown assailant when he was shot multiple times. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by a private vehicle; he was pronounced dead on arrival.
