The residents of the Sterling Children’s Home will once again have a joyous Christmas season and pleasant end to the year thanks to ICBL.
This is because for the second year in a row, ICBL made a donation to each of the 23 children resident at the St. Philip facility.

Senior Vice President, Business Development & Marketing, Alex Tasker, said following last year’s donation of hampers to the home, the company wanted to continue to make worthwhile contributions where possible:
“This is especially important for us given our presence in St. Philip, through our Emerald City, Six Roads office. We are not only committed to expanding our reach in terms of providing service to our customers, but also from the perspective of expanding our reach in the community. Too little attention is paid to institutions which are situated in the more rural, or ‘far out‘ areas of Barbados, so we wanted to focus more on them. Having visited the home and speaking to the staff there, we are also aware of some of the challenges they face as it relates to the maintenance of the facility. It is therefore our desire to look into these further to see where we can assist.”
